The pitch
- HomeFor investors: Simma, pre-seed, raising £250k. One system to run the whole business, with an AI team built in: website, bookings, customers and money on one record, and six AI teammates and a chief of staff. Problem, solution, product, market, competition, model, traction, team, status and the ask.
- The problemThe problem Simma solves: business software doesn't join up, so people do, at every size of business. In a small service business, the owner is the integration. What it costs: the bills, 11 hours a week of admin, the stitching, and the customers who give up.
- Why nowWhy now: AI can do real work, but most businesses can't deploy it (the diffusion gap). Simma gives AI the business record and somewhere to act, an AI team to do the work, and employed Local Partners for the human last mile. AI is also changing who can start a business.
- The solutionThe solution: Simma doesn't join the tools up; it is the tools, and the foundation for the agents. Website, bookings, payments, customers, email, brand, documents, team and Google on one record, with an AI team that has the context and a platform to act in.
- The productThe Simma product: thirteen sections grouped as Demand, Supply and Run it, six lenses across them, and a shop front where customers, search engines and AI meet the business. All on one record, with an AI team inside.
- The marketThe Simma market: every business, eventually, starting with solo and micro service businesses. £382bn worldwide, £100bn across UK and US businesses under 250 staff, a £44bn beachhead, country by country, with a calculator.
- CompetitionSimma's competition in six groups: vertical all-in-ones (Fresha, Mindbody), horizontal tools (HubSpot, Wix, Xero, Square), business suites (Odoo, Zoho, HighLevel), automation (Zapier, Make), AI workers (Viktor, Sintra, Lindy) and the AI-native business OS (Biz-on OS, Lowco). Suites own the record; agent platforms do the work across other tools; Simma is built to own both, for the smallest service businesses.
- How we make moneyHow Simma makes money: free to start, a subscription per business plus a share of every payment through Simma Pay, and the five-year model.
- Go-to-marketHow Simma wins customers: product-led first, with the Cascade giving every industry its own version of Simma, employed Simma Local Partners for the businesses that want a person, and Simma Sparks, the media brand that brings owners to both.
- TractionSimma is its own first customer: its development already runs through Simma's work system with coding agents, its website is built in Simma, and the company will be run on the same platform it sells.
- The teamPaul O'Connor, Simma's technical founder, has built 'one system instead of many' twice: for the media company he started with his father, and for a FTSE 100 global events company. Simma is the third time. Full-time from first close; up to three employed Local Partners in the budget; a bench of eight senior people who have asked to join.
- StatusWhat's built and what isn't: Simma's status measured against the codebase and production, dated, with the gaps named.
- The askThe ask: £250,000, a priced SEIS round, to prove the machine works: the founder full-time, two or three employed Simma Local Partners in different parts of the UK, 30 paying customers by month six, and the evidence for the next round.
